July Update

Dear Members,
The Council of Management of The Nottingham Mechanics are pleased to announce that we shall be re-opening to members and guests on Monday, 3rd August.

This is subject to Government regulations covering safety of everyone during this coronavirus pandemic, so we shall be ensuring social distancing in and around the building  There will not yet be full service in our bar/restaurant – but a limited service will be available.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Nottingham Mechanics and hope you will once again enjoy meeting your friends here. Our usual programme of activities will be restored as soon as this is possible under the restricted circumstances, and we ask you to be patient as we work on the task of bringing the Mechanics back to ‘normal’ again

Please pass this message on to any friends who do not have the Internet available for this website.

For further information in due course, please phone: 0115 9145838 or 0115 9523048.

Meanwhile, please keep yourselves safe, and look forward to when we shall resume our full programme of events and activities for you to enjoy.

  1. My resolution is to visit as often as possible and have a better social life after being locked down so long.. I especially miss the lovely James and colleagues in the bar,!

  2. Lovely to hear The Mechanics is to open again in a few weeks, but would imagine many of the activities will be placed on hold for several weeks, so things will be far from normal.
I like to pop in to read the newspapers after shopping in the city centre and especially look forward to doing this again.
